Christmas Shoe Box Appeal

The girls from Scoil Mhuire Lourdes recently took part in the Christmas Shoebox Appeal in association with Team Hope. Every year the girls put together a Christmas box to help children affected by poverty in Eastern Europe and Africa. We had a huge variety of boxes this year for both boys and girls aging from 2- 14years old, with almost 100 boxes in total!

Thank you to all those in our school family for supporting the cause and helping vulnerable children overseas.

Image

For the month of the September there was one girl in each class who made a really big effort in all different ways. From caring words, improvements in work to working well in groups, these girls shone brightly. Below are the girls in our new outdoor classroom with their certificates of achievement. Well done!

Looking forward to seeing who will be pupil of the month in October!
