Junk Art creations in Junior Infants

As part of our Aistear time we have a Junk Art station where we make whatever we want using the materials we have and the given theme for that week. Look at our great work!

People Who Help Us

Ms. Madden’s Junior Infants

This week we have been learning about the people who help us in our local community. We have been very busy during Aistear time building hospitals, veterinary surgeries, doctor’s surgeries, fire stations and police stations with Lego. We have also role played working as a chef in our kitchen and serving customers in our classroom shop. We really enjoyed acting out the different parts! Our favourite costume was the fire fighter! We hope you enjoy these pictures of us having fun and learning through play.

Aistear in Junior Infants

Daily, the children in Junior and Senior Infants take part in Aistear, which is  a structured playtime. Teachers provide them with a variety of toys and equipment which they can explore and create with and discuss with them each day their experiences. Its’ great fun!
