REMINDER: Junior Infants Vision & Hearing screening taking place in school on Monday, 11th February 2019 – all pupils please attend school.
Consent forms have already been completed and returned to school.

Rainbows Ireland
FORWARD STEPS FAMILY RESOURCE TULLOW CO. CARLOW
The current contact centre for Rainbows Ireland in Carlow
The Rainbows programme supports children and young people affected by loss, bereavement,separation or divorce.
Children who are in 1st/2nd class (Level 1), 3rd/4th class (Level 2), 5th/6th Class (Level 3) would have experienced Parental separation or Bereavement would benefit from this peer support programme.

National Parents Council: Training
The National Parents Council will be giving a training session tomorrow night, Tuesday, 5th February @ 7:30pm in the school. The training will focus on what is a parents association and the roles and responsibilities of its core committee members. All parents or guardians are welcome to attend.

Thank you to all the grandparents who made our day very special. A special thanks to the Parents Association who were on hand to help!

St. Brigid’s Day 1st February
St. Brigid’s Day which we celebrate every year will be on Friday 1st. St. Brigid is the patron saint of this diocese and is closely associated with the Brigidine Sisters who founded this school. On Friday all classes will attend 9.30a.m. mass – please ensure that your daughter is in school on time so that we can get all pupils to the church before mass starts.
Grandparents Day 30th January
To celebrate our grandparents there will be a mass in the church on Wednesday 30th at 9.30am. There will be an opportunity to have tea and some treats afterwards in the School Hall after Mass.
Looking forward to seeing all the grandparents then!
Vintage School Desks
Scoil Mhuire Lourdes: Vintage school desks available to take away. If interested, please come to the school on Saturday 2nd February from 11am- 1pm. Must be taken away on the day. Donations greatly accepted for these wonderful pieces of History! Enquiries to 059/9151875
