SVP Sale 2022

We had such a wonderful day on the 14th December for our annual SVP Sale. The 6th class girls along with their teacher Ms. Conway had a super day full of shopping, fun, and activities planned for the whole school.

The final amount that we raised for SVP was a staggering:

€1915.65  ( even with all the pupils absent on the day of the sale!)

This is a fantastic amount of money that we are able to donate to SVP. We will be donating €200 for Our Lady’s Hospital in Crumlin for sick children through wearing our Christmas jumpers. We cannot thank everyone in our school community enough for their great support. We are very proud of the girls in SML and all they were able to achieve this Christmas in helping others.

Well done girls!

The Late Late Toyshow 2022

We are super excited in SML for the Late Late Toy Show each year but tonight’s show is extra special……

On the Toy Show this year will be one of our pupils from 4th class- Laura Evans!!!!!!

She has been working hard with Spotlight stage school over the past number of weeks, attending rehearsals in Dublin and getting ready for the big night.

We are so proud of Laura, all her hard work and dedication has paid off. We will be looking out for her closely on the show and want to take the opportunity to say;

“GOOD LUCK LAURA FROM EVERYONE IN SML” 🥳

The Late Late Toy Show will air live on Friday, November 25 at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.

Spellathon 2022

This year we were blown away by the fantastic response to our Hallowe’en Spellathon. In total our school, raised €3385.30!!!!!

ALL of this money will go towards activities for the children such as Jiu Jitsu, Drama, Zumba and lots of more workshops throughout the year.

Thank you to each and every one of our families who supported our school this year.

We are very grateful!

Student Council 2022-2023

Student Council 2022-2023

At Scoil Mhuire Lourdes, our Student Council members will represent the voice and opinions of all the children within our school. Through our Student Council we aim to develop young leadership skills, whilst supporting student democracy. The Student Council is an ideal opportunity for pupils to get more involved in the way the school is run. It benefits the whole school, pupils and teachers, because it provides opportunities for pupils to communicate their feelings as well as influence decisions that are made.

The Student Council is run and led by the children, supported by a member of staff, and takes an active role in making decisions and suggestions on behalf of the children in the school.
