Our Say Yes to Languages programme started this week in 4th-6th class. Here are some pictures of Ms. Carroll’s class practising their greetings auf Deutsch!
Well done to everyone who participated in their first inter-schools competition of the year in Wexford Equestrian Centre on Sunday last. This team included pupils from St Brigid’s and from Scoil Mhuire Lourdes, Tullow. A great day out with them coming in 4th place!
A big congratulations to all and in particular Muireann from SML. Thank you to the team coach Debbie Flavin Redmond.

A huge congratulations to Helena Hunt on being the winner of the school lotto Jackpot! Don’t forget to sign up to the school lotto to be in with a chance of winning the weekly prize or the jackpot.
We are very excited in SML to welcome back all our wonderful pupils tomorrow, 1st September.
The school will open at 8.50am-9am to receive pupils. Class begins at 9am- all pupils must be in school by this time.
The school day is over at 1.40pm for Junior and Senior Infants and 2.40pm for 3rd-6th class.
Junior infants will start at 10am for the first few days and finish at 12 noon ( text reminders will be sent).

Arts Appreciation Day

We would like to welcome students, parents, family and friends to join us in celebrating Arts appreciation day together in Tullow so we can share with you some of the creative elements we have been working on. Our theme this year- Countries around the world.
Ann, our music Generation tutor, has been working hard to facilitate the programme in our school from 3rd to 6th class, and invites you to join in our workshops, to give you a little taster of what we do in our sessions
• 4th Class (both classes) Workshop ‘Creative Movement’ 9.40 am- 10.20am
• 3rd Class Workshop ‘A Musical Exploration of Harmony’ 11.00 am – 11.45am
• 5th Class ‘Performance and Share’ 12.15pm- 12.45pm
• 6th Class Workshop-‘ African Drumming’ 1.30pm- 2.15pm
