As part of DEIS we have been granted a new position in our cluster of schools in Tullow. This role has enabled a teacher to step out of the classroom to focus on working with parents and becoming the link between the two most important worlds in a child’s life. This is the first time that our schools have had such a position and Deirdre Fleming will be taking on the role. This new position known as HSCL means that instead of working with the children, Deirdre will now work with you, the parents/ guardians of the children in our community to help them settle into school, enjoy and give their best in school and become the best that they can be. She will be available to support you in any way she can around any issues that may affect your child’s education.
Deirdre would like to meet the junior and senior infant parents of our school here on the morning of 13th October for breakfast.
Tea/coffee and some treats will be in the school yard from 8.50am so please pop over after you drop your child to school and enjoy something sweet on us!
