Today the girls from 5th class attended a workshop in Tullow Library with author and illustrator Alan Nolan. The girls were given the opportunity to explore and discuss how to become an author, how a book is written and where Alan gets his inspiration from. Alan performed an extract from his book The Sackville Street Caper. The girls then created their own illustrations based on a character from Alans’ stories. They had a brilliant morning!!
