5th class took part in a Primary Schools Orienteering Event at Altamont Gardens today. The weather was chilly but that didn’t curb our enthusiasm! The girls used timers and maps to locate each point on the course as speedily as possible. It was great fun and we loved putting our mapping skills to good use! We would like to thank the Parents’ Association for funding a training day for our teacher. We are looking forward to lots more orienteering this year
a huge thank you to Sinéad Garry for accompanying us on the day..
