Bóthar and Trocaire Appeal

Well done to all the children in Scoil Mhuire Lourdes for the outstanding contribution you all made to Bóthar and Trocaire this year. The children coloured in a picture of a sheep to symbolise just one of the many animals which is sent to families in an attempt to provide food and money for them. In addition we had a ‘National Colours Day’ recently with each child wearing the colours of their country, county or town.

The classes were given a talk by Niamh from Bóthar to tell the children about the wonderful work their money is doing for people in Third World countries around the globe.

A special well done to 6th class for your generous time giving in making bookmarks and bracelets to sell at break time.  Your money will be added to the final contribution.

The final amount will be posted soon but we have over €700 so far and counting!!!!
