Tullow Girls played their first match on Friday against Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal in Brother Leo. It was a super game with SML being victorious. 2-2 to 0-2 was the score with great play from both teams. A sincere thank you to Ms. Quiney and Ger O’ Shea for all your help.

National Bike Week starts on May 13th and runs to May 21st. We encourage as many girls as possible to cycle to school next week. There will be a prize for the class that makes the most effort to cycle. Please remember to cycle safety and always wear a helmet and hi-vis!

Caroline from Carlow Sports Partnership is hoping to arrange a number of courses for parents here in Tullow over the next number of months.
Walking , Pilates, yoga and kettlebells are some of the suggested courses… all at €2 per class!!
Come to the “coffee dock” in the Girls school yard on Friday 20th January at 9.20 to meet Caroline, express your interest and have your say in the choice of classes.

There will be one winning primary school who will receive prize money of €50,000 to be spent on sports facilities /equipment at the school.
There will be an additional ten primary schools who will each receive prize money of €5,000 to be spent on sports facilities /equipment at the school.
To enter, we must fill a poster with ALDI rugby stickers which you can get at the checkout in ALDI if you spend €25 or more. If we can complete at least one poster, our school will be guaranteed to receive rugby gear. We are accepting stickers in SML and would appreciate your support!
