National Bike Week starts on May 13th and runs to May 21st. We encourage as many girls as possible to cycle to school next week. There will be a prize for the class that makes the most effort to cycle. Please remember to cycle safety and always wear a helmet and hi-vis!

Senior Infants visited the bird table this week with our GS subcommittee on Biodiversity. This week we decided to use suet balls to help our school garden birds through the recent cold snap. The girls are really enjoying learning about native Irish birds and how to increase the variety of birds in our school garden.

Members of the Green Schools Committee helped Senior Infants to make bird feeders for our school garden today. This will encourage birds into our school and provide them with a source of food during this cold weather!

Dale Threadwell came to the school today to deliver a biodiversity workshop and the girls loved it. They got to look at different bugs and learn about different habitats.
