5th and 1st class were busy designing and making board games for Engineering Week. They engaged in lots of engineering activities this week and really enjoyed designing and making their own board games which we then swapped with 1st class.

As a part of engineers week senior infants undertook the task of making a pencil holder using recyclable materials. The girls had great fun and the finished products were great.

5th class were lucky enough to receive a visit from a real life engineer this Engineering Week! The girls had the opportunity to interview an engineer as well as engage in some engineering themselves as they were enabled to make an LED light each! A huge thank you to Adrian for giving his time and expertise to bring engineering to life for the girls.
