The Team at Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort welcomed back the Volopa Irish Challenge for the second year to their grounds. The 6th class girls were invited to attend this prestigious golf tournament and experience all the excitement and energy on offer. Justin and Brian looked after the girls, giving them great advice on improving their swing. Alongside that, they were treated to a Q & A and exhibition with a pro golfer from Co.Down.

Engineers Week
Engineers Week 2016
The mathematicians in 4th and 5th classes attended a fun and entertaining show in Carlow IT on Tuesday the 1st of March. The show, ‘Secrets, Lies and Randomness’ was presented by Dr Maths and organised by STEPS, Engineers Ireland. Dr Maths showed the girls how to perform magic tricks with playing cards, using their mathematical skills. The girls agreed it was a very enjoyable show.
The budding engineers of 3rd Class were entertained in Tullow Library on Thursday by Fionnghuala Ryan, Environmental Awareness Officer. They learned all about Climate Change and Renewable Energies in a fun and exciting way while playing the ‘Energy Game’. A great morning was had by all.
