Chocolate Button Experiment in Senior Infants:

Senior Infants combined Science and procedural writing when they undertook the chocolate button experiment. The girls had to explore the effects heat had on chocolate and where chocolate melted faster, in the hand or in the mouth! Here are some pictures of us testing it out! Needless to say the girls all enjoyed themselves!

Senior Infants continued their investigations into the effect heat has on a variety of materials when they made toast! The girls learned how heat can change the texture, temperature and taste of bread and how science is all around us, even in our own homes! Here are some pictures of the girls enjoying the results of their experiment!
